This project started from a completely unrelated idea 2 years prior to its full conception. After conversation upon conversation, tons of bridge-building, editing, thinking, life and a massive amount of help and support from individuals who went from strangers to close friends, it some how—just happened—exactly how it was supposed to. The end product and the entire process where serendipitous in every respect (expect the full account in a memoir or an essay, too much for a blog post).

The show was a collaboration of storytellers, artists and community members who spoke their truths. The jumping off point was these four stories, which I edited down from long interviews into 2 minute snap shots detailing their own self-perception, others views of them and why any of it mattered.

Yay, internet stardom…I hope they don’t notice that I don’t have a Facebook..
